Egon Castlunger
Yoga teacher, Zen Shiatsu therapist and musician Egon Castlunger teaches yoga with a holistic approach, skillfully blending both Taoist and Indian traditions. His singing voice and guitar are seldom missing from his classes – bringing lightness into even the deepest experience. His yoga teaching is a contemporary style, based on Hatha Yoga (Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation), Vinyasa flow elements and Yin Yoga (with the background knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and Zen Shiatsu.
Egon was born and raised in the Dolomite Alps of Northern Italy, the raw purity and groundedness of the mountain is part of Egon’s playful nature. In spite of this idyllic home setting, he felt the pull to explore the world, which planted the seed for him to become a naturopath and a Shiatsu therapist – influences that he now brings into his teaching of yoga. Egon is based in Zurich as a yoga teacher and musician and teaches retreats worldwide.
