Mark teaches Ha-Tha Yoga, which against common understanding means all physical forms of Yoga practice, not a specific “style". Ha-tha means the merging of the sun and moon, the male and female, prana and apana (two energies), and is a purification and re-balancing practice where breath and body movement are one. The practice includes Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises which move, activate and increase Prana, vital energy), Bandha (energy locks), Meditation, Relaxation and Chanting.
Cheralee is a traveling yogini, musician, and nature lover. She discovered the path of Yoga when she moved to the island of Maui, Hawaii in 2007. Soon after Cher left to spend a year in India to connect with the birthplace of her life's work.
Cher's speciality is bringing people together in ceremony to connect, sing, dance, heal and release. She believes breath is the main focus of yoga practice and she is passionate about utilizing yoga as a therapy for the body and mind. Cher has found that precise alignment in asana can heal many "problems" in the body structure, and can create a bridge to align thoughts, words, and actions. She believes every aspect of daily life is sacred.
Cheralee has traveled around the world and studied with great teachers from various yogic lineages. Some of her greatest influences include Mark Whitwell, Eddie Modestini, Nicki Doane, Shiva Rea, Arya ji, Ted Surman, Dr.Ringo, and of course: Nature. She learns daily by witnessing the rhythms of nature at work. Cher spent the last few years studying and collaborating with Mark Whitwell and has gained great inspiration in her daily life through his friendship and teachings.
Cheralee's mission is now to share her experiences. "I believe Yoga is a path which helps us return to our natural state: Union [bliss]. It is my calling in this life to share my interpretation of these teachings, which have radically transformed my life."
Aliya started her journey of self-love from Yoga 11 years ago. And since then it evolved and transformed into a spontaneous, fluid, joyful lifestyle. Her teaching is constantly evolving as her practice evolves.
Aliya's yoga class is famous for it's good explanation, sense of humor, creative flows, mix of stretching, strengthening and deep relaxation. Aliya loves to take you deep into the pose and challenge your mind with visualizations and verbal guidance through sensations, thoughts and feelings. She becomes a story teller while you are on the mat and the story she tells is all about you. Taking you beyond comfort zone in order to face your limits and abilities.
Aliya believes in education of anatomy and physiology, the common sense of body safe movements. Aliya is constantly in self - study of her own emotions, feelings and mental patterns.

The wet season is occurring between October/November to March/April. During this season, we can have short heavy rains.. passing buy as we are near the ocean. Very rarely we have rain lasting all day. It is generally always hot with temperatures hovering in the mid to high 80s and up.
