Steve & Geri offer a fusion of yoga styles open to all levels and a great way to get deeper into the practice of yoga & meditation. Every class is an intuitive response to the energy and level of the students.

Their philosophy is very simple: “Every body is different and every person requires individual attention and understanding. It specifically needs your attention and understanding. Asana, breath awareness, meditation and a break from habitual routine will center you and bring you back to balance and focus.“ We as teachers/guides/instructors are just part of the environment that facilitates that process. We are about making good, feel better …and feeling rather than imposing… “

Steve & Geri will be your guides and teachers of the regular ‘Kura Kura Living yoga retreats’. They are widely travelled and now living in Bali and living Yoga for a long time.

Do I need a visa to visit Bali?

A Tourist Visa is available for about US$ 25 on arrival at the airport in Bali for most countries but you will need a passport valid for six months after the arrival date in Bali and a return ticket. Visa regulations have been in flux in Bali for almost a decade so it is recommended that you check with your consulate for the most up to date information.

Bali utilizes the standard European plug (two round pins) and is at 220V. Adapters will be necessary if you are taking any electrical items.

Is there internet access on property?

While we hope you’ll try and unplug… yes, there is wi-fi on property.

What will the weather be like?

As global weather is changing we can’t predict anything now a days. Because of it’s equatorial location, Bali tends to have two seasons, a ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ season. The wet season is occurring between October/November to March/April. During this season, we can have short heavy rains.. passing buy as we are near the ocean. Very rarely we have rain lasting all day. It is generally always hot with temperatures hovering in the mid to high 80s and up.

I'm going by myself. Is that o.k.?

Absolutely! Most of our guest are solo travelers. Kura Kura is safe and our staff will take good care of you.

Is it possible to stay extra nights prior or after the retreat?

Yes, most of the time it is  but it depends on availability.

What is the local currency?

The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah. You can use this currency convertor for today’s accurate rates.

Is there a nearby ATM where I can withdraw money?

Almost everywhere there is an ATM to withdraw cash money.
