Thank you, Kura Kura and your wonderful staff...

...for a truly relaxing and re-energizing experience in the little piece of paradise you have created. Together with Annemiek we 'moved into stillness' during the lovely yoga practices. I felt very spoiled and pampered by the excellent food, more than beautiful surroundings, the small scale, friendly smiles of all the staff, the nice massage, enriching encounters with Dewa and visit to the water temple. It was a complete and extremely recommendable experience.

I am very grateful to all, thank you, and I hope to meet again!

After a turbulent period in my life, I wanted to heal and my intuition guided me to Kura Kura
I arrived at Kura Kura full of hesitation, anxiety and battling the urge to turn and run. My mind did it’s best to convince me I was just fine, and didn’t need healing after all. Fortunately, a decade or so of yoga practice has taught me that the mind rarely knows best. I entered Kura Kura full of fear and empty of strength.
My two weeks at Kura Kura brought about more growth, more change and more evolution than I have the words to express. I did need healing, and healing I received. The wisdom of Sahaj and Satya is unparalleled. The authenticity of the yoga is rare and precious. The generosity of Marlinda is what makes the human experience so beautiful. The spirit of Kura Kura is nurturing, supportive and powerful. The centre is filled Balinese smiles and the lotus flowers. The noise of nature is pervasive.
I learnt to breathe again. I slept peacefully again. I started eating and nourishing my body again. I re-learnt my daily practice. Strength came in waves, and happiness started to creep back in. Forgiveness found its way into my heart, and an understanding of truth penetrated my being.
I left Kura Kura alive again. My spirit, my essence, which seemed to have packed up and left after the attack had been coaxed back. Rumi once said “wherever you are, be the soul of that place”, this is the gift of Kura Kura.

A piece of heaven
